Every Project Is Different
Our technicians travel throughout the United States collecting dimensions, weights, photos, and product information that helps manufacturers and distributors improve shipping, warehouse operations, automation, inventory, and eCommerce.
Projects typically last 1–6 weeks, and every customer presents a new challenge.
When one project wraps up, you’ll head home before the next assignment begins.
We build our team for the long term, and our top performers are the first people we call for upcoming projects—with opportunities to grow into larger roles as the company expands.
Performance bonuses are available for technicians who consistently meet project goals for speed, accuracy, and reliability.
What You’ll Actually Do
Using AI-powered mobile dimensioning technology—not a tape measure—you’ll:
- • Measure products with industry-leading mobile dimensioning equipment
- • Capture product photos
- • Record weights and packaging information
- • Locate inventory throughout warehouse aisles
- • Verify data for accuracy
- • Work alongside teammates to complete projects efficiently

Product Data Pros is a Dimensioning as a Service (DaaS) company that uses AI-powered mobile dimensioning technology on rugged tablets and handheld devices to quickly and accurately capture product dimensions, weights, photos, and other critical product data.

FAQ
Q: How much do I get paid?
A: This role starts at $20/hour. If you prove dedication and culture fit, this base hourly may change drastically after a 3-6 month review. Also, keep in mind, most of your expenses will be covered (flights, hotels, meals, etc.) during projects via per diem.
Q:You mentioned bonuses, how do I earn those?
A: If you’re working hard, showing up on time and being a great team player/leader we will notice that. Since you’re salary, you may stay beyond an 8hr shift if a site allows, the quicker you get done, the more time you have chill in that city or head back home*. Bonuses can range from $200-$2,000+ depending.
**This is all based upon accuracy and quality of the dimensions and data collected.**
Q: Can my friend apply?
A: Yes! We encourage a strong relational group that likes to work hard and get things done. We may even be able to compramise and get airbnb’s for travel teams that feel comfortable around each other.
Q: Can my spouse or friend accompany me?
A: Yes, what you do beyond the scope of work is your business. There will not be any financial help from PDP for their arrangements. The PDP employee will be allotted the general government rate for per diem. If you choose to go beyond expenses because of said ‘spouse or friend’ – you will not be incentivized.
Q: If I get hired and like the work, will I travel forever?
A: As we grow we plan on being regional so techs can go home every night. As mentioned, there are opportunities for leadership roles as well.
